Coda Russell Jones is born!
On February 14th, our 2 year wedding anniversary and of course Valentines day .. Yuki gave birth to our new son: Coda Russell Jones … but ‘Code’ for short, like his daddy!! The name Coda was actually chosen for its musical meaning: A concluding passage of a movement or composition. Coda was 6 pounds 10 ounces, 19 inches and born after only 1 hour of labor at 7:06 AM.

Coda (光大) Japanese meaning Bright, Shine or Glow
February 14th, 2008 7:06 a.m.
6lbs 10oz (3004g) 19 inches (48.2 cm)
Started contractions around 4:30 am
Lost mucus plug at 5:00
Around 5:30 we finally started to call the doctor and my sister to watch Ailee
Arrived at hospital around 6:00 and had Coda at 7:06!!
In that hour all I can think about is I can’t do this for 10 hours again!
The pain was about 10 times painful than last time and it felt like my pelvic
was going to crack open.
But everything went quickly and Coda was born!
Ailee loves hats
Ailee’s recent activity.
*She climbs on to the dining table.
*She’s starting to not eat her veggies.
*While watching TV, when there is a scary scene or something loud
she will cover her face and peek through her fingers.
*If there is a sad scene on she will whimper and make sad sounds.
*She kicks everything around the house like a soccer ball.
*She demands by pointing to diaper when she wants it changed, brings her
snack bowl and points at kitchen counter when she wants snacks, turns on
the TV by herself when she wants to watch, or shuts it off if its only news
thats playing.
She is becoming a little human everyday.
She also loves to try on hats.
Photos of her trying out mommy’s hat.
She will come and pat me and show off the hats she tries and wont go away
until I tell her how cute she looks.
Super bowl dinner
She just can’t stop eating.
We had mexican food and she ate some spicy food that day.
She woke up a few times during the night and pooped 3 times the next day!
Eating with Jiji
The camera wasn’t broke after all, it was the memory stick!
Ailee has been going to sleep without her bottle now for about a month.
Instead we give her a tooth brush. Sometimes she will cry for awhile
most of the time she will suck on the tooth brush and fall asleep.
So she drinks her milk from a sippy cup during the day.
A video eating lunch with Jiji or should I say stuffing it up her nose!
